Oh what a night!
Our Brooch and Pearls Girls’ Night Out Sip and Shop event at Pier 6 Rooftop was a was a huge success, thanks to you!
Going with the theme, we were all decked out in brooches and pearls for the evening. What a special night it was to pull out these often-unworn treasures. So many of you shared your stories, regarding the history of your brooch and pearls. Several pieces worn, were passed down from mothers, grandmothers and we even had someone wearing a brooch that belonged to her great grandmother. We all had fun sporting our treasured heirlooms.
We hosted our second Bingo search game, and it was a huge success with Meredith taking home the cash winnings of $25. Way to go!
Special thanks to Pier 6 Rooftop for providing an amazing venue, with a view, plus beverage and small plate specials for the event. They also offered their full menu at our event.
If you’re looking for a venue for a special event, Pier 6 Rooftop can accommodate both small and large groups. Plus, the views are breathtaking and the perfect setting.
Our Non-Profit Spotlight was Women in Distress of Broward County. Together we collected ‘welcome home baskets’ for women in need. These donated baskets were filled with items necessary to help women start again to build their lives.
Thank you to everyone that was able to contribute. Together we made a big difference.
Special thanks to my husband, Scott and our friend, Scott, for carrying and loading the donations to the non-profit’s vehicle.
Our amazing bartenders, at both bars, kept the drinks flowing. The evening weather was perfect for our outdoor patio social overlooking the beautiful beach, pier and ocean.
Another big element to our Girls’ Night Out Sip & Shop event was having local women artisans and businesses exhibit their work. Be sure to keep these local businesses in mind when purchasing gifts. Shopping local and supporting other women helps make the world go around.

Special mentions to my favorite Swag Bag contributor, Last Mango Boatworks who gave away these great carabiner lights, in the Swag Bags. They were a hit! Stay tuned – they also donated some awesome raffle baskets for our event, next month.
Our social media, sponsored contest giveaways were a sure hit! Rita was the winner of the gorgeous, handcrafted charcuterie board by Sandy with The Faded Flamingo. Carey was the winner of the beautifully designed lapis pendant by Rose Giglio.
The Faded Flamingo, Beauty Counter, Dream Vacations, and CBD American Shaman had raffles at their tables. Check out the lucky winners!

Our Social Bunch Girls’ Night Out –
Sport your favorite animal print outfits for a photographable evening at our Girls’ Night Out Sip and Shop Paw-ty benefitting Lady Luck Animal Rescue, with raffle basket drawings. Lady Luck Animal Rescue will be there to run the raffle table.
Shop local artisans and businesses, meet new friends, plus enjoy raffle tables, a local food truck, photo booth by Magic Booth Events and beverage specials of $5 core beers and $5 red & white wine.
It’s free to attend, but an RSVP is required. The event takes place May 18th at 26 Degree Brewing Co. 2600 E. Atlantic Blvd Pompano Beach, FL 33062 from 5:30 to 8:30 P.M.
Let’s get together to shop local businesses and bid on the raffle baskets to help make a difference in animals in need.
